I would recommend orpingtons cause they have the most beautiful colors, but i am a tiny but biased lol

I would love some lavenders, I'd be so happy with that.

I have looked up good beginner breeds to start with and Buff Orpingtons and Dominiques are among the easiest to have and keep with their gentle demeanor and hardiness. Both are great in the heat and harsh cold!

We have had both, and they're great. I miss my chickens, especially my grumpy wyandottes and BR Roo (rip).
