aww congrats! Mine layed in the afternoon too starting out lolMy GLW finally started laying a few weeks ago! She's getting more consistent, but she still skips some days lol. She also lays in the late afternoon![]()
it could be she is taking a break I saw a couple threads where their chickens combs were a dull pink not laying for the winterI think that my Blue Australorp might be done laying, since her comb is much smaller (think immature pullet size) and it's not very red anymore. She could just be taking a break over the winter, but my Buff Orpingtons comb is still large and red even though she's not actively laying
