Though on a second look, the green DOES counter the curve. If the green thing were more involved, you might balance it out better.

It's well centered, but the colors don't contrast well. The background does have nice depth, but the curve of the table leading left doesn't play in the nicest way with the position of the face. The green in the foreground also detracts from the overall composition.
