ITS 35 AND SUNNY HERE

It's 40° and sunny here. And still really snowy...

I was showing this weekend and it was SO COLD. First day I could ent feel my toes! I pulled a warmblood named sandreo for flat and got 2 and for jumping I got 3. I WAS ONE POINT AWAY FROM QUALIFING FOR REGIONALS IN JUMPING AND TWO IN FLAT!!! SO UPSET!!! But I don’t think u understand any of that. It was IEA.

Oh my gosh no, because I made it to regionals in Western Horsemanship. I was ONE PLACING AWAY FROM NATIONALS.

I think we probably have a similar point system... I don't know how any other associations really do it. Have to get so many points to get to Regionals (I got third in the region), then place at least 2nd for Nationals.

I rode horses for 13 years, but haven't been able to do it regularly since August of 2023. :'(. I mostly rode western, but also played with some low level jumping.

I did IEA for one year and 4H for two (I really wish it were a lot more, but we never had good opportunities and it was an uphill battle to do anything outside of lessons).

IEA IS THE BEST! I’m VP in 4H rn

I loved the Equine Skillathon in 4H.

My friend is practically a public speaker. So I officially got second but we were both so happy.

I also do baking! I made pumpkin bars a couple of days ago, and have more pumpkin things to make just because we have some canned puree, and I'm excited for it.

We do regionals then zones then nationals. And we need 18 points. Dif then western. I’ve been at regionals for 2 years in a row

You need 18 quotient. Then you go to regionals and if you get first or second, you go to zones. If if you get first and second and that then you go to the nationals. I don’t even wanna explain team rider because it doesn’t really make any sense and it’s really confusing.

Stemmed from ADHD. I was also homeschooled, so I just sort of got away with it. I may still get all my credits, but I'll probably have a kid before that.

I didn't start with anything specific because I didn't show much at all, but as I improved in my riding it became much more about technicals and relationships.

Yes, I was always totally confident with horse and outdoor things. Otherwise nope, I can't talk in real life, I sound loony.
