So went into some back yard chickening this year. Wife convinced me so I built a coop ect. The first 6 we got were pretty much all straight runs... lol didn't think much of it at the time. However I do not want any roosters. We got 6 more as I was afraid most would be roosters and we would get no eggs after all this work. 4 of them were pullets and the other 2 im not sure my wife got them. 1 had to be put down as it couldn't walk or use it 1 wing.. think it got stepped on by 1 of the bigger birds. So we have 11. YEsterday I went outside to hear Cock a doodle dooooooooo. I was expecting to get 2-3 which is why we got another 6. I'm hoping we only have 1-2 . Help me identify them or possible rooster please. I didn't take picture of the pullets.

Big Red, 2 Black Giants, and then a mix of Bantams.

#1 cockerel
#2 pullet
#3 cockerel
#4 cockerel
#5 cockerel
#6 cockerel

4 and 5 depend on age, but looking at the pullets in the photos, they are at an age where they should still have pale yellow combs... if they were pullets.

I agree with everyone else. One of your crowers may be that Porcelain D'uccle. D'uccles seem to be precocious. Both of my cockerels were crowing at 9-10 weeks, other breeds have taken longer.

The little brown bantams in the last two photos, the red/brown chickens in photo 2 and possibly the black chicken in photo 2 appear to be pullets (depending on age) . Everyone else is a cockerel.

Knowing the age is helpful but also the sound of the crow. High little squeaky toy would be a bantam.

The other trick is play a rooster crowing on your phone. A lot of times the young up-and-comer with respond with a crow of their own.
