This is where the chickens roost at night found drops here and below the roosting spot on the stairs. I have 7 hens and one rooster. And in that spot was, from what I saw last night was either the rooster or a hen. I also found a large patch of blood on the pine shavings elsewhere I'll post another picture although it's blurry.

I would check to see who roosts in that spot after dark tonight. Someone may be a bully or a feather picker, and need to go to jail for a few days. A pecked comb will have black marks on it after a day or two. Check any feather-footed birds for missing feathers or blood on the leg.

I don't think I'll be able to tell I got them all grown up and they already had black marks on they're combs. As for they're sleeping habits they all move around. I know there was one hen and the rooster in that spot last night because the roosters head was resting on the hens. As for the hen it can't tell which one it is because three of them are white and I haven't been able to tell the difference between them yet.
