Finding clothes that fit...

I wear a size 5, finding shoes that aren't hanna montana in my size is tricky. Try Zappos.com for shoes.

Yeah, I searched Zappo's. They don't carry anything smaller than a size 5 which won't fit. I had to get a pair of work boots last year. I finally found a place that sold a couple of brands smaller than a size 5. I said, "Great, I would like to order a size 4 1/2! " Thinking I would probably want the extra room in a workboot. Well....4 months later, and freshly made from the factory in China... I got my boots. They fit fine, but I had been laid off from my job that required them.

I've gotten some heels here:

That's the heels I have! Naturalizer ( sp) I've had them for about 15 years. There used to be a store in the mall that carried tiniest feet on earth shoes.

I remember the girl saying that to her coworkers when I was trying shoes on.

I tend do buy 3 or 4 of something if I find one that fits. I found the right jeans, and I think I have 6 of them now. When you get lucky, you have to stock up!

My mom wears a size 4 shoe. Seems like she used to have an easy time finding shoes when she was younger, in the late 70s. She still wears a lot of them, too! I always said if I had a chance to go to Asia, I'd bring back a whole suitcase of little shoes for her!

My latest issue (and the cause of the rant) has been looking for bras. I finally found one today at Victoria's Secret. I'm sure it'll be discontinued soon.

I'm usually complaining about finding pants/jeans. I have unnaturally long legs and almost no torso so I have to wear ultra low rise. They don't size those type of pants in misses so I have to look for junior pants. The problem with that is that juniors don't have the behind and thighs of a 37 yr old mom of two! Ahhhhhh! It drives me crazy!!!

Seems like I hit a hot topic here! It feels good to know I am not grossly malformed!

For underthings there's online shopping, freddies, vickie's and trashy all have expanded store sizes online. I usually restock the girly drawer in Feb, and buy a few hundred dollars to get the free shipping.

I have to have a petite size, and try finding it in something larger than a 12. I know I should lose weight, but the older you get the harder it is, so the nurse says walk, try walking with a knee out, most of my clothes are really old, but I usually buy tops and pants, can't find a dress that looks good, so most of the time I wear sweat pants & oversize tees. at least I'm confortable. marrie
