Finding Duck Eggs

So it's day 21 on my first hatch of chicken eggs, looking pretty successful so far. Thought I would try to find some duck eggs from my slowly dwindling duck flock. Looked around the ponds with no luck and in all the little outbuildings close to the ponds... nothing. I should have 7 ducks, 1 is missing. I was hoping she was trying to sit somewhere. They do occasionally sit in the Spring, but always give up before hatching. Also missing a goose which may be why they switched ponds again. Not sure how long the goose has been gone. It isn't mine and they are less than liked by me.

So what are the chances the ducks are laying this time of year with no feed? I only feed in the late fall and winter.

Like I said, I don't feed them this time of year, they stay in good condition. Maybe that's why I don't find eggs except the early spring.
