My girls mowed down every bit of green grass in their (smallish) run, so now when I come with freshly picked green grass I practically have to call out the riot squad. Watermelon rinds are pretty popular too --

Mine free range and still practically MOB me whenever I come in to fill the feeder or bring treats. Fruit is the biggest hit, followed closely by frozen corn. So far the only thing they haven't really liked is raw okra, but they still ate some of it.

But I think their favorite so far has been FROGS. We have a TON of frogs this year, and lately if I mow the lawn, I end up with a few frog casualties. Happened today....I don't use any chemicals on my lawn or anything, so I just picked up the dead frogs after I was done mowing and tossed them into the coop. They don't hesitate (I am sure they've eaten their share of frogs while free ranging) and the game of Frog Keep-Away is far more intense than it is with cherries or grapes LOL.
