Aww im so sorry! You are not a horrible chicken owner. One of my chickens passed away a few weeks ago and I don't know the reason either. Sometimes it just happens. She may have had a brain tumor, or had some other problems that had no side effects. You are not a horrible chicken owner, and I'm sure your chickens love you very very much

It's hard to lose chickens because they are like family. But give it some time and it will get easier. I promise

Stan wasn't mine, but he felt like my rooster, LOL. TheOldChick has a thread about Stan's passing, you can leave her a message there.

It's funny, I'm not usually that emotional, except when it comes to chickens. When I learned that Stan died, I was awake until 2:30 in the morning crying. LOL

And just so I'm not too off-topic...

You know you're addicted to chickens when they get a slice of your birthday cake and you are mesmerized watching them eat it.

By the way, I see that you're home-schooled. That's awesome! I never went to "real school!"
