when you borrow your manager's personal kibbutz car cause all the general kibbutz cars are signed up already,to run to the closest moshav(village) that carries basic chicken feed, go there wearing your office hotel uniform including high heels, and return with the 50 kilos of feed and two baby cochin chicks in the back seat, off load the feed in to the dairy kitchen store room, and bring the chicks to the back office unitl u finish the shift.

when u dig up earth worms to tempt an ill chicken and when your colleague tells u about her sick kid, you tell her about your sick hen.

when you have to fence in your garden as opposed to your chickens;

when you explain to the pharmacist that u need b complex and he asks for whom, and you say : for putting in a hen's food/water because she has 'remedia syndrome i.e. lack of vitamin b's' and ask for recommendations, and you overhear several people in the line make comments about 'crazy americans'...
