Finished and chickens in!

    Friend gave me 2 hens and a roo from his feeders he bought and raised. I think they might be rhode island reds.
    We borrowed a coop design from a BYC member and used as much recycle as we could find. We have about $550 into it including all the deck stain. But now that I have 3 I want more so I am already asking hubby for a chicken condo off the other side! Can't wait to get more chickens next spring.

    I LOVE your coop. I have a very similar design and it is perfect! We added a rain barrel off the back and put on a gutter and I use it for the garden - works perfectly. I too have the "chicken" bug and have asked hubby to build me another in the exact same design for bantys [​IMG]
