I realize the photo angle is a little wonky, it is perfectly level and square in reality! Darn you, camera phone! If you notice the chicken door cut in the side, that is now has a door and a fold out ramp. The windows are normal slide up ones, and the exterior window trimming is also holding down hardware cloth, since window screen is not protective at all. Vents part of the gambrel roofing, which you can kinda see. Also protected with hardware cloth. The whole thing is insulated with r-19, with spray foam to fill in the gaps. I would have taken an interior picture, but it was too dim to get anything clear. Lets just say the chickens have their own set of stairs to reach the roost
Very glad to have finished my first chicken coop! I had help, my housemates made good laborers who helped on the project in exchange for food. It isn't in its final location, yet! Now for the chickens....well, they are kinda on their way in the form of hatching eggs!
