I am so proud of myself. I have to give DH some credit too since he did help quite a bit one day. It was formerly a 4-drawer metal filing cabinet. I used a salvaged hot water heater thermostat, a salvaged heater fan, a flood lamp from a yard sale $1.00, salvaged hardware cloth, sheet of foam insulation $10, 3 thermometers $9.00, salvaged plexiglass and hinges for the door. It will hold at least 200 eggs. It holds the temperature amazingly well. I've had it running for 24 hours or so and just set some eggs in it tonight. I'll be hatching red broilers, buff orpingtons, ameraucanas, and in the spring cuckoo marans. I am soooooo excited!
