Finished the swingset chicken coop

I hate to be the poop in the litter but if the wood is pressure treated you might be asking for problems with your chicks. It is probably possible to coat the wood so that it is safer, but pressure treated has had such a bad rap

What is wrong with my pullets? They are almost 4 months and when I flip a board or a bale, they don't even look down at all the creepy-crawlies! They don't try and catch crickets or grasshoppers either. They will eat them if you hand it to them, but they won't eat worms.

Is that something they grow into? My game hens have VERY keen eyes and eat everything except doodlebugs.

I had to "teach" some of my young chickens (that were raised indoors during winter) to eat worms. Once they sampled them, they were hooked! You could try cutting a few in pieces....

I can't see the pictures unfortunately.
Yeah, that's what people get when they use photo hosting sites that eventually close down, or start charging a membership to host photos (and the owner doesn't pay up). You will see all over the internet the impact this fairly recent change in the photo host business model where TONS of conversations like this one suddenly loose all their photos. A great loss for history. And I am not joking. Very long and well written conversations from at this point over 10-15 years ago suddenly loose all context and images that used to go along with their text. Really sad.
