We are done with our second coop. Thought i'd post some pics. On the fencing, i decided to run a couple strands of electric fencing on the outer perimeter. The hardware store had brackets that extended the insulators for shock wire about 4-6 inches away from the welded wire fence. I think this might prevent predators from getting to close to dig. Does this seem to be a good idea? Thanks!
I'm using slide up door on a pulley inside (a neat idea i got from this forum).
I made the nesting box where we can unbolt from the inside and pull out for easier cleaning.
The roost and nesting boxes.
