So tuffy do you not need a lav coloured parent to produce lav as long as the they are split blacks? Im as ignorant as they come on genetics.

These Split Black Lavs that I have can produce the color Lav, split black lav or black chicks. I have hatched a percentage of Lavs (1 or 2 at a time depending on how many eggs I get to set) from this Trio but also I get Split/Blacks with the gene and there can be just a black chick so you have to breed back if not a visual lav produced.
