I had to look twice at the date (today) on the posts when duckyfromoz stated it was spring and the days were getting longer. WHAT?! Then I saw rpchris say they are in Australia! Wish our spring was just starting, the days are getting shorter here every day... Going to work in the dark. Coming home in the dark too will be the norm in about a month. BOOOOO!

The shorter days works in lighting a fire under my butt to get things more settled BEFORE winter hits. Here's to hoping!

So far I have done a bit of painting

Im not working as fast as I thought I would. but Im getting things done.

I've still got to do another coat of the purple yet but I don't think I will with the main, browny/creamy colour. can I get away with it?
I've still got to paint the black trims yet.

Wow!! I am loving the way that looks!! Very geometric, nice clean angles and the contrasting paint colors really set the whole thing off. It is sooo artistic!!

I built a new feed room this weekend, & now have to tear out walls in both barns to remodel larger rooms for my turkeys & peafowl. Instead,...... I'm here on BYC. I'm not one to procrastinate, but I've been in the hayfields from sun up to bedtime since April. This is my 1st week back to semi-retirement. I sure am enjoying this loaf-out this morning. Do like I'm gonna do,...... have another cup of coffee, & chill a while before finishing!

Ok, guinea. Coffee breaks over. Back to work for both of us!
