So I learned from this that I should have minded my own business and let momma do her thing
but lesson learned. So here is where I am at, I put one of her eggs in the incubator because she had left the nest but when I candled it was alive. Today is day 23 and out of no where it pretty much broke out of the egg the fastest I have seen and seems strong and will not stop chirping in which Fiona can hear because I sat the incubator near her. Now Fiona is non stop clucking and the all of the chicks including the new one are urgently peeping. Fiona seems very unsettled almost like she is calling it. Should I move the incubator so she can't hear until night when I try to slip it under her? Or do I leave it near her so she can hear the chick who is still wet?
