Fire Engine Red...Bad Idea (in more ways than one)

I am getting the feeling that Chickens can see red. My daughter had fading red fingernail polish on and we went to the state fair...she put her fingers up to the glass window where the chicks were and several of them came over and started tapping at the glass trying to get her fingernails. I guess that explains how they can eat Japanese Beetles...(p.s. I have not read through this whole thread, so forgive me if I repeated something from an earlier post.)

LOL!! This thread is really funny!!! I have to laugh, cuz my neighbor and I have been joking that we were going to take a Pole dancing class just tonight before I got on here and low and behold I read this post!!!
I don't think there are really any classes like that here!!!
I always have my toes painted, I try all kinds of fun colors, and my chickens always go for my toes!!! Right now they are bright bubble gum pink!
I also had a pair of garden shoes that were yellow with red lady bugs and they would always try to peck at the ladybugs!!LOL!
I didn't realize this post was from last summer!! I wondered why I couldn't see the pics!!
My DH thinks painted toes are sexy!
Oh I'll have to really look and see if their are classes like that!
Oh, and I will be hosting a Spice of life Party soon, it a girly party to help keep the romance alive, they are a hoot!!!

Yea they love red too, just dont paint your toes and go in the coop with flip flops on, I made that mistake they love bright pink too. I bent over to gather some eggs and my turkeys thought yummy pink toes. OUCH!!!

I've thought about the pole dancing thing before but I'd also be soo embarrassed.

I always try to find ways to "spice" things up, but hubby doesn't seem to care about "outfits" that I've tried.

Will have to try the red nail polish.

I cant wear red. Myskin color just doesnt work with it:|
My toes are ALWAYS painted. "For Audrey" is the color. It's as close to Tiffany Blue you can get. I dont wear sandals that much. Never barefoot. Ick. I stepped on a nail once when I was a kid. Went right through my foot.

Pole dancing is great exercise. Spending hours in the saddle is too. When I was younger I did both. Sometimes I miss those days

Well, I'd just like to add that a pedicure is one of the best treats a woman can give herself.

My DH likes red toes, and when I wear heavy make-up...some fantasy about trashy women...go figure...men.

In the summer, I prefer a french manicure on both fingers and toes. Very clean and classy looking. In the winter...I like colour (red, hot pinks, purple, etc.) ...refreshing to see colour with all the snow we get up here.

As far as PDA's...my DH and I are both guilty. Walking down the aisles of Costco, he says, "Did you pinch my butt?"....I didn't of course... But then I will cuz I know that's what he's asking for. I have found that when DH gets grabby, what he's actually looking for is affection...so go give him a big hug and 10 second kiss. Problem solved.
