I cleaned and fired up the bator. Should have eggs coming tomorrow, so I'll set them either tomorrow night, or Thursday morning. Cross your fingers that the post office doesn't screw up or do something stupid this time.

I've got some blue Jersey giants, and speckledhens barnyard varity pack, barred rocks, americana's (right?) and blue orps, or black or splash. Whatever they turn out to be, Cyn promised all pullets.

Well, they must be all pullets since I just hatched all the roosters for myself.

Yep, I popped a few of Charlotte's Ameraucana eggs in there, figuring that hers were still fertile since Scout had only been gone a few days when I started collecting them. In fact, an egg I cracked open of hers today was fertile. After yours, I couldn't be sure Hawkeye didn't get to her. He was ignoring her pretty much and she was screeching like a banshee if he passed by her, LOL, but only a matter of time, right?

Going to fire mine up after the kids go to bed. I have ameraucana, white crested black polish and silkies to put in.

My first hatch of the year. Also testing fertility.
