Okay, on the advice of several BYCers, I am going to keep them outside. I'll put them in a pen with a tarp on top so they can't try to fly away.
I have tried several shelters for them, but they prefer the great outdoors - the sleep in their kitty pool, by my backdoor, or under my catcus at night. I no longer pen them since they haven't ever gone out of my backyard which has a 6 ft fence.
I'll leave their dog igloo in the pen with them but they almost never go into it unless I put their nightly salad in there, and only long enough to eat it all. Spoiled brats.
