I did not consider it a rule to PM it to me, it was just for my convenience - no harm, no fowl (foul!) I found several, it's all good!

I had a fowl just now. I was looking for my wallet before I headed out. I thought it might be in the pocket of my coat. So instead of reaching into said pocket to see if wallet was there I decided to squeeze the pocket of my jacket from the outside, feeling for the wallet. What I felt instead was the late egg my turken laid breaking apart and oozing yolk and white that I forgot I put in my jacket pocket on my way in the house.

Oh well I think the jacket needed washing anyway.

X2! I counted myself out as well. I wasn't able to log on again last night due to a large number of family members in the house. Late Easter gathering since my in-laws came back from wintering in Florida. All had fun, but for some reason the horses weren't in the mood for pony rides. MUCH more interested in eating the-grass-on-the-other-side-of-the-fence and crabby when not allowed to. The inexperienced horse people at least didn't recognize the threats and dirty looks they were getting

That just left me holding my breath and praying no one would get scraped off on the fence rail.

All rightie, Foothills dwellers, what was that huge explosion at 8 a.m.? My dogs alerted before it happened, I thought it might be an earthquake but it wasn't.... (I keep the USGS "Recent quakes" site handy all the time.)

News in SacTown are talking about a meteor exploding in the air (not a hit to the ground)

All I can say is the geese and the roosters also all went nuts.

Sorry to be so silent but I do have my turkey eggs set

. I fell off of a ladder repairing my goose coop and hit a ladder on the ground and broke some ribs. I then ended up in surgery because they thought I was bleeding internally so now I am one solid bruise with broken ribs and my stomach cut open

That's awful and I hope you heal very, very quickly! Take lots of calcium and eat lots of greens for a while.

Still not confirmed, conjectures a meteor possibly DID hit the ground, nobody knows where... but Amador, El Dorado, Placerville, Tuolome, Nevada and other counties all "heard" it.

My whole house shook.

We used clamps to clamp the panels to the bottom, then swung them up.

My . . . . what sharp eyes you have Grandma . . . . .

I was intent on looking at the coop and COMPLETELY missed the inhabitants!
