I will be getting 20 Columbian Rock bantams on Monday or Tuesday and I am so excited! I have only had LF chicks before, so is there anything different about bantams that I should know? Will be setting up the brooder in the garage this weekend. I can't wait to see how different the size of the chicks is, because in pictures they look the same! Is the space requirement the same in the brooder? DH only has the frame built for their new "coop/tractor" so he has to get moving! He finally started building 2 weeks ago, although he has been promising since I ordered the chicks in February. The coop is 4 by 6 and the total run is 4 by 12 counting under the coop. He disregarded everything I told him for months about the weight, so I may need a truck to move it! It will be nice regardless and is my first new coop in 16 years. Here's hoping I get a few pullets in the bunch!
