Well after selling all my breeder quail last fall...and all my custom quail laying cages...I've decided to get back into the quail again. But just focussing on smaller flocks of rarer Bobwhite and Coturnix colorations. Here is my first batch of eggs from a PA breeder. They are mix of White, Orange, Tenn Red x White, Tenn Red x Orange, White x Orange, bobwhite eggs and a few Tuxedo Coturnix. Will be getting the TRUE Texas A&M eggs next week...and Red/Red Tuxedo Coturnix eggs in a month or so.

Wow SamG347,

You have a nice assortment of coturnix and bobwhite eggs, that would be very interesting to raise those cross breeds to see what the result will be.
I wish you a great hatch rate, i hope you get plenty of chicks with each species and cross species.

Good Luck !!

Good luck with your hatch. I have been wanting some Tenn. Reds myself.

I'm not a fan of the straight tenn red color. But hoping to possibly hatch/work on getting Red Tuxedo bobs basically.
