I would actually keep it all open in the winter.... doesn't look like it will blow on the perches.

If it does blow... then I would close EITHER the door venting, or the window, but not both.

Totally agree. And usually it will just be the window due to the direction of weather patterns coming in from east and that window is on the east side. Thank you

Your eave vents and that cupola should be all the winter ventilation you need.
Should cover the eaves with HC from the outside(see My Coop page).

Beautiful build!
The door, the steep roof with nice overhangs, the cupola....all gorgeous.
.....and the size(yayy!!) Love seeing the tiny dollhouse coops next to new builds.

Vented eaves, excellent! I wasn't sure from the pics, but looking again, I see it now. I really love the cupola. Makes me wish I had a peaked, instead of a slanted roof. Beautiful build all around.
