First chick arrived

the first of the ten eggs hatched this morning , bang on day 21.

I’ve decided to leave mum in coop and open up second coop for the flock tonight or until the hatching has finished.

Looked under mum very carefully, and saw one little chick sitting across the top of the eggs. I can’t see any evidence of more and I’m loathe to disturb her too much as this is my first hatching and hers.

Any advice for the next twenty four hours please

The next 24 hours? I would leave them alone and let her introduce them to you in couple of days, just make sure they are safe not to fall off the nest and safe from the flock until she’s ready.
