Uh, oh yeah, forgot that part chicmom. What an idiot I am!
What she said.
Just listen to what I said for AFTER they come out of the incubator.

Sorry. Did not mean to offend. Since it can take a day or two for chicks to hatch out, I misunderstood, when you said "next day or two". Good luck with the chicks!

Oh no, no offense taken! I'm so glad you told him-I honestly just wasn't thinking and sure don't want him to pull his babies out before they were dry!

Oh my East! I really need to get the hang of this thing! LOL I guess I'm internet challenged! So glad I didn't offend though, because that would never be my intention. I just love chicks and incubating.

Have a good day!
Sharon

Sorry to hijack for a moment beewrangler: No prob, Sharon! I can sometimes come across as a bit curt(don't mean to) but I have the excuse of being married 21 years!

I LOVE chicks myself-have 9 beauties in the brooder right now!

OK OP-back to your babies-any more pips or zips yet?
We, of course, will be needing pics of these new chicks!

no sorry needed at all, I am very thankful for all the helpful advice! I still only have the one out right now and getting a little worried about two of them that still only have the first little peck hole in the shell. There has been no more action with them. I am very tempted to help them out but holding off for now. The little one is doing very well, it is doing alot of peeping and testing its feet out lol. The other two have not peeped for a while and the other dozen eggs have no action yet. I will be adding pics forshure

Don't be worrying too much about the pips, they could just be sleeping before they finish the job!
