Tomorrow after I gather eggs, I'm going to try and hatch my first batch of eggs. I was just reading about someone elses first attempt that was a complete bust. Sure hope that doesn't happen to me. At least they are my own eggs and I have very little in them. I will probably be on here looking at threads for information for the next 21 days. I have already done a good bit of initial research, so I feel pretty good about the whole process.

Well, wish me luck!

We are here for you if you need help !!

We took a bunch of eggs from the barn this fall. I mean we had EVERY cup filled in the turner.

What we hatched out was TRUELY amazing. It was just a complete riot !!

The little buggers are running around in the nursery and JUST about ready to go see thier parents !! I think we had a pretty active leghorn roo (we call him foghorn leghorn) as about half of the chicks were a mix of leghorn !! We got ONE pure silkie and ONE pure cochin. We got a bunch of really strange looking silkie types.
I did get a few wild games out of the deal.
