Started to lay cinder block for the footing of the run. Have about 40 to set and fill 25% of them full of concrete and j-bolts the rest fill 2/3rds with dirt then finish with cement.
Have baby chicks coming Friday, if I can get the coop repainted finished, mesh in the openings, and the footing finished. If I don't get this done then chicks in late july.

Well, all is better got the new paint and finished painting and it has great coverage. Working on the trim work and the windows and small doors. Plus, fill the cinder blocks with cement.
