First Coturnix quail hatch (pic heavy and more to come)

I have thought about getting a cabinet incubator but I really dont need all that room, I dont want to hatch 360 chickens lol, I have been considering just building a wood incubator that is about half the size of a sportsman and putting two turners in it, one for quail and one for chicken that way I can hatch 48 chicken eggs and 120 quail eggs at the same time

Just a note on your turners...or food for thought, it's been my experience that any egg, regardless of quail or chicken, that is placed in the slot right next to the turner motor will never hatch...Just so I don't "waste an egg"...I actually leave the last two slots open next to the motor. My LG stinks for quail hatches anyway...if your wanting a smaller store bought incubator, go with the brinsea octagon 20 eco, don't use the egg dividers and you can put 75 cot eggs in there or 30ish chicken eggs depending on the size....

Sometimes though a small cabinet job would be handy...with two shelves

Post pics of your chicks now that they are older I just had some chicks hatch this morning I have the same incubator and my chicks seem to have a weird colour to them nothing I've seen b4
