First crow!!!

I have a baby monitor for my chicks so I can keep an ear out for trouble. Well my chicks are 8 week old Polish and 6 week old barred rock cross Amerucana. Someone just crowed!!!! It wasn’t a great crow but I heard a crowing. So now I have to figure out who is the guilty party. I can’t keep Roos since I live in the city limits.

Nope. Some have a tiny comb and the start of wattles but everything is pale.

In time the cockerels will get their combs before the pullets.
I always laughed when my young roosters started to crow. They sound so funny.

Might be the polish then, from what I've read they are hard to tell gender.
