What luck! I just set the eggs on Saturday night and today was my first day back at work. Had gotten the temperature just perfect, holding steady.......got home and the thermometers showed a max of 107, min of 97. Say what! I turned it down a bit and then later noticed the clocks are flashing about 2 hours off. Power had gone off at some point today!
Since I am only two days in, I am not toooo concerned. But we'll see. I haven't had a power outage in months and then off course TODAY is the day to have it
I run it off a battery backup, but obviously this becomes a problem when the air conditioner is off and the house is heating up while the incubator runs at the steady heat.
I plan on candling at 7 days. Guess we'll see what happens?
