My Gold Brahma hen (Goldie Hen) was clearly getting fed up with being cooped up with her 6 week old chicks.....so they are out for the first time.....there's rain and high winds, but they are having a whale of a scratching-up time (the ground you see is the foreground is the result of Goldie Hen on the lawn yesterday).
The integration with the big Brahmas and the rest of the mob (Naked Necks, mutts etc. of all different ages) was totally without event....and the sheep watch on...

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
