So my girls went outside to the coop today and I haven't seen them drink any water yet. I upgraded their waterer to a plastic gallon one and they don't seem interested in it at all! I showed a few of them (that I could get ahold of) where it was, and even put their beaks in it. Will the rest follow suit with the ones that figured it out? Would they eventually drink it rather than letting themselves parish? I certainly hope so! Oh and my coop and run are not big enough for them to be unable to find it. It's pretty much right in front of them.

Use the waterer they are used to using first. Then have their older waterer and the new one together. When you see them drink from the new one, take the old one away.

I'll try putting the old waterer in today. I was unsure about it at first because it's a glass jar one and I didn't want it to break, but maybe I can secure it somehow. Hopefully it works! :) Thanks for all the advice! I love this forum!

UPDATE: I made sure they were all introduced to the new waterer and things are going great! I think they've adjusted really well. :) Thanks again for the help!
