First day on the loose!

Can you rig up something to shade the front of the rabbit hutch until noon or whenever the sun shines for that 10 days ?
A Sheet pinned on some rope on branches to shadow it until 11 or noon? Something like that? Hutch looks pretty open .I wouldnt put it on the hutch itself as it may make it hotter in there. no breeze etc.
Is the back wire too?

didnt know about imprinting .. so for about 4 or 5 days put them in the coop by hand yeah work! ...but it worked the 4rth-5th day they went in themselves or most did and by 6 days all did

Anotehr idea...i call chick chick when i give them a treat and it didnt take long to get them to come running,A couple days.they KNEW A treat was in store.

Maybe you can try and leave them in a day or so putting a treat in each evening saying "chick-chick" or something. as you put it in... ..then let them out and try putting some in the 3rd evening and call them. with the same call at about the same time.
That way until they get use to the hutch as home they still have a reason to know to come to it in the evening..Just an idea.

Their coop will have wire coming out horizontally at the bottom of the vertical fencing.. the run will too - the run will also have an enclosed top. Am hoping to get them in the chick coop in the next few weeks.. They are pretty safe in the rabbit hutch - the wire spacing isn't very big at all - I'm hoping they'll be ok.. this is my first adventure with chickens :)
