First day on this site

I am not quite sure, it is day 22 we did a float test, candle them before there was no sign of piping or movement. When we did the float test 3 of them were moving and 6 of them where floating low and the rest sunk to the bottom. 3 of them rotten themselves out. We have been maintaining humidity and temp but I am afraid they won't make it. Still no signs of piping
Oh boy. I died each time someone says they put a hatching egg in water. If it wasn't dead before you put it in water it's probably dead since putting it in water.

Never ever put any hatching eggs in water.

I have not read back.
Do you have a salt tested humidity gauge in your incubator?
Do you have at least one calibrated thermometer in there?

What exactly has your humidity been at?

It's going, not we'll I don't think. Not sure if they are going to make it
The number one thing that kills an incubation is temperature spikes.

The number two thing is running your humidity too high.

Have you been candling the eggs?
I have a lot of candling videos and if you would like I can show you what a quail egg should look like at hatch day.
