She had a red/white male and female, a black/white female, 2 white females and 1 white male. All seem to be doing very well and weigh at least a pound.

Yeah, I was thinking the darker color reddish was the prettiest.

Well, I got the 6 turkey eggs and 7 silkie eggs in the incubator last night, so first day for those. PLEASE keep your fingers crossed, especially about the silkies!

Well, supposedly, the one I got, there are only two flocks of them in the US? I didnt get them because of that though, I just like turkeys.

Of course if I had to stay here they would go out to my aunts place but since the paperwork for the country place is going well, I dont believe that will be a problem.
What kind of turkey eggs did you get?

Bronze, I looked them up and I guess they look like Wild Turkeys.

Hubby keeps saying, "yeah Thanksgiving dinner next year" if he wants to process, clean and pluck I will cook, but I want no part of the "deed"

My turkey eggs are Beltsville White.

Anything white in Georgia is Orange.....LOL

So dark turkeys are good for me.
