First dove

I just got my first dove and do not have a clue about how to care for it. I need some tips, and is there any way to get doves from being so wild?
Right now I got it in a birdcage with some birdseed and water.
Is there any better things to feed them?

um, what do you want to know?

They need grit with helps them chew- a standard bird cage is not large enough in my opinion.

Wild bird seed is of low quality- look in the section for recipes for good food.

to hand tame a dove, even an adult dove take them into a room that has nothing to perch on, release and have nothing to land on but you.

ringneck doves, you can feed them small seeds (canary mix), wheat, smaller maize, green beans etc...
