First duck eggs

Well hatch of SWD's just started 1 out 4 pipping. Out of 6 eggs.
20 more due next week. mixed eggs
23 the week after. mixed eggs
All OEGB's, Oh any OEGB people on here As soon as I get some new pics I think I'll start a thread

As the skelatal frame puts on mass the egg gets darker until sometimes all you can see is the airsack. Watch closely for some movement. Does't hurt to be out a min or two.
 
The duck eggs are on day 7 only. These are easier to see in than the chicken eggs I have. The dark beating heart today seems to be lighter and when I move and rotate the egg it seems like their is a sac or bubble. This is different then the chick eggs for me. When I rotate and see the "sac" I can still sort of see the dark spot.
 
Ok I might have been too worried...

You can kinda see the eye spot now. PHEW... I have learned my lesson... until tomorrow..

I promise to stop checking so often.. guess I should start getting my brooder ready for my chicks due next weekend.. WOOT WOOT! I'm sure they will keep me busy for a while.

Yeh my Nephew came home telling me about the chicks at school hatching.
Teacher thought He would be more interested. I guess he figures "seen enough of that"
We hatched out about 500 eggs last year.
