I went out to let everyone out this morning and found my first fairy egg! You can only imagine the amount of laughter when I pulled up my 4 regular eggs first to find it behind one lol

I guess we all have days where our efforts just don't measure up to everyone else's :).

I also get a kick out of fairy eggs. Last year, my runner duck queen, Quinn, actually laid one INSIDE of one of her regular eggs. Never had it happen before or since.

Thats so odd! I'd be losing my mind if that happened lol so far we haven't had a single fertile egg which feels odd since they're all constantly on top of eachother (4 males, 10 females)

I was so taken with the egg-within-an-egg that I cleaned them up and keep them in a jar in my odd egg collection. Come on, doesn't everyone have (or want) one of those?

No I don't but id love to see what you did. I love seeing how people display their odd stuff. I have a friend who collects bones and spears from tribes. They always create the coolest way to display their things.

Some day -- and I hope that day is getting closer -- I will master the art of getting my photos to my computer and I will be delighted to post pictures of the weird things that my lovely girls have produced.

As a partially reformed collector of too many things, I agree; many people create cool displays. I mostly created places for dust bunnies to hide and breed.

I have an avid dust bunny collection due to children refusing to clean their rooms. All while I refuse to clean their rooms for them. Sometimes I go in an take pictures to show the kids when they're older.
