First duckling Cayuga day old

One of my duckling hatched last night and was moved to the brooder a few hours ago. I only moved him because he was all over the place in our incubator and he looked uncomfortable. He was completely dry before I moved him. The temp in the brooder is at 98, but he has not attempted to eat or drink anything. He lays down and appears to be falling asleep. Is he dying or just exhausted?

He may just be tired from hatching. When I hatched a duckling, she took kind of a while to eat and drink and was tired

I did end up moving him into a smaller container so the heat lamp could be closer and syringe feed him some feed mixed with water and he’s doing much better
