first egg 4.75 months!

my white leg horn had its first egg today. the chicks came on 2/18. a little early? they are all very healthy.

I think 5 months(20 sweeks) is about average. Your girl was rearing to go. Congrats!

My silkie and sumatra usually go 5-7 months before they start. Neither are considered production breeds. I bet you are par for the course, how many hens did you end up with? Crongratz.
