I don't know who left me this wonderful gift but I am thankful! It was like Christmas morning for me. All the work and love I've put into my girls is finally paying off!

I have no idea which one laid it! I just know it wasn't the easter egger. The rest are supposed to lay brown eggs. I wish I knew who left me this beautiful first egg! It was such a deep orange color you would have thought I died it or somthing. I've never had fresh eggs before and man what a difference.

Thanks! I sure am proud of whoever laid this beauty! I have: 1 Dominique, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte, 1 Speckled Sussex and an Easter Egger. I got them August 9th last year. I give them Kale every day, maybe that is why the color is so nice? If they don't get their Kale, I hear it!
