Hi all, I found my first egg today (chickens usually free range ) but since I'm going out of town next week I wanted them to get used to the run, and lo and behold, there it was! At 15 weeks!

Question is, who did it? I have 2 guesses....one is Hank, mixed breed who I've always been worried was a boy due to the comb and wattle development
OR Boomhauer, who has been pretty grouchy lately and I'm not sure if she's a White Rock or Leghorn

Either way so excited! Or should I say eggs-cited! What do you guys think?

I don't know a ton about chickens, but if the one on the right is a hen it definitely looks like it would be laying. It might be a roo though. [IMG] Btw I don't think Boomhauer is a White Leghorn, so she must be a White Rock.

Thanks! Found the culprit, it was the white rock. Found her in the nesting box standing next to a second egg!
