I got three eggs today! THREE! I caught my third CM in the boxes and when she left there was a HUGE (poor thing) dark egg waiting for me. Lucy and FluffyButt also contributed today. That makes three!!! Eleven to go. Wonder who's next....
We got another egg today, it was exactly the same size and weight as the first one, 1.1 oz.!
The really funny part was that when I went out to check on them after hearing a lot of commotion in there, Hephaestus was in the nesting box sitting on the egg! He really is so sweet, but it was funny to see! He was very disgruntled with me for taking the egg.

Yes! It's just the greatest thing ever! It's like a miracle that just keeps happening.
And Hephaestus is really a great roo in the making, he's only a little over 6 months old, but he takes his job seriously!. He is so into taking care of his pullets, it's very sweet.
