Yes we do have a rooster. I don't have a photo right now, but once it stops raining I'll take a photo! We've had white leghorns before, but it was a long time ago and I don't remember when they started laying.

Yes, but when you have a rooster, they are squatting for him and being mated. They are not as likely to squat for you too, as they are getting enough action. Very few of my pullets squat for me.

Still no eggs! My hens are all very vocal, they go in the nesting boxes all the time, and they have some of the reddest combs and faces. I just don't understand what is keeping them waiting? They are 27 weeks old now!

Getting eggs from 18 week old Black Sex Links...but is it weird that I can't stinkin wait for my Barred Rocks and Easter Eggers?! Ahhhh The red combs and squating are killing me! I give them a pep talk every night...my Hubby talks about large BBQ every morning. ;p
