First Egg Countdown!!

My leghorns started laying a week ago. I have 6 of them and they have laid 6 eggs total. They are about 18 or 19 weeks old. Then today we found a beautiful brown egg with white speckles. It would be from one of our 2 RIR's or our NH. I don't think my 3 Tetra Tints have started laying yet, unless some of the white eggs are actually from them and not the WL's.

I got my first egg from one of my Leghorns last week

Today I got a little almost purple looking egg. Probably from my RSL I haven't taken a pic of it yet. I think I'm going to set up my trail cam in the coop so I know who's laying.

Ok so today I took pictures of my purple looking eggs and they look brown

I saw my RIR in nest box this morning and later check to find an egg so could be her laying or maybe both

the white egg came from my Tetra Tint.

Here they are next to my adult hens eggs.

Ok so today I took pictures of my purple looking eggs and they look brown

I saw my RIR in nest box this morning and later check to find an egg so could be her laying or maybe both

the white egg came from my Tetra Tint.

Here they are next to my adult hens eggs.

Nice darker brown color!!!! I hope my RIR are as dark!

We got out first eggs this past week! She's laid three I'm three days. But on day two, when it got to be noon and no egg, we let them out. She immediately laid it on my front porch on a shelf. Do they lay pretty consistently time of day wise?

we got this girl April 2 from a local feed store and she gave us our first egg today! Woohoo!! It took her some time and I swear her eyes rolled in the back of her head! Wondering when sisters will follow suit!

The blue egg is from my EE that I said started squatting the other day and the white eggs are from my white leghorns. I. Am. PUMPED!!!!!!! 3 down, 5 to go!! For a few weeks at least. My second batch is only 14 weeks, then I'll be waiting for 6 more! And my third batch are only 8 weeks and then 6 more!! (The chicken math got me!!) lol
