First egg! EE wins the race

Feb 20 hatch, and got first EE egg yesterday!! Dusky green-grey color. We bought 3EE, 3 Light Brahma, 3 BO, and 3 Welsummers from same hatch. We thought a BO or an LB were going to be first, as two of them are really red in face/comb/wattles, but the EE was first!

Congrats...our second just layed her first egg yesterday. First was a RIR, second was BO.

My understanding is that Brahma's are late in laying, with BO being slightly before them.
