I'll have to go take a picture of them. They're big enough, I believe. Are your nest boxes high enough and wide enough for chickens to stand in comfortably??? Chickens stand when they express the egg.

This is my first time with Easter Eggers. I read it about how they take forever to lay and I would not get many per week. They are my best layers! My Marans always goes broody and my SLW lays about 3x a week.oh wow! Mine are 15.5 weeks would LOVE if my EE starts at 20 weeks!!! Have heard from a lot of people lately that their EE didn't start till 7-10 months! My other are Brahma's, Cochins, and Salmon Faverolle so mostly LATE layers. I feel like it will be years till I get my first egg (since some are 8-9 mo till they lay! LOL)
Cute!Congratulations
I blew my first egg and wrote on it.
It is not on my mantlepiece
I forgot to take a picture this morning. Here's the style of coop I have. Mine is just like the one pictured. Are your nest boxes high enough and wide enough for chickens to stand in comfortably??? Chickens stand when they express the egg.
Yes, of course . Thanks! I'm glad they're the right size. I'll just have to take the advice to get some fake eggs to get my gal to lay in the right spot. They are proper size. If we did not ask questions we would not know, and how can advice be given in the dark.
It is also not good to assume... Am sure you know what assume translates into.
